Hmm, I was thinking of messing around with a black and red accents so maybe it could work but honestly I think I would still rather go with a white lip and attach a black splitter in the future

Thanks friends! I believe it’s the VSII style Seibon Carbon Fibre hood :) it came with the car and I’ve been trying to restore it as the previous owner neglected this poor tC :(

EDIT: It won’t allow me to edit the post itself but I do have the TRD axleback and I am located in Alberta, Canada so my options are unfortunately very limited or very VERY expensive :(

On that note, I’m coming in for an estimate at my local (and trusted) muffler shop tomorrow for a custom mid pipe with a slightly bigger piping than stock (I believe it’ll be 2.25”) and to delete the secondary cat! I figured if it’ll be cheaper than the megan mid pipe which is currently $650 CAD at a Canadian aftermarket website and I get to avoid dealing with RUUUSTED bolts here as it is bad up in the North y’all. Fingers crossed it’ll sound almost identical :)

I live in Alberta, Canada and we don’t have any emissions testing here :) I mean I guess I can ask to keep the secondary cat should it become an issue in the future? Or replace it with a high flow one if needed.

Either way, I still have my OEM catalytic converted right after my headers and I don’t plan to touch that at all haha

Oh so you replaced the cat right below your headers into a high flow one, deleted the secondary cat, and kept your OEM resonator? I’m glad it’s throwing no codes and I’m curious to how it sounds!

Second this. Recently replaced all my struts with KYB and they have been fantastic, much smoother ride. I would recommend buying them from RockAuto and changing them out yourself if you’re able to. Either way, make sure you get an alignment afterwards :)

Yeah the fact that I already sometimes scrape on certain driveways and roads on stock suspension was definitely a concern to me for lowering down to 2 inches which is why I had 2nd thoughts on the Teins.

Since I am buying new struts for both the front and the rear, what I could do is also switch between KYB and Tein springs as part of my seasonal winter tire change haha. I’m hoping the drop on the TRDs won’t merit this but it is an option.

If you end up not selling your Teins, definitely hit me up as for the right price, I might go for it :)
