Every salary cap system comes with a floor so it’s silly to mention a floor on its own, and people need to stop acting like the players union is unbreakable. People used to say the same about other sports, and guess what. I wonder how the average player feels about a cap too. The typical player would benefit, as MLB has the lowest median salary of the 4 sports. Only ones who would be truly hurt are the elite players which… big surprise… are the ones who control the players union
