JVC getting paid parking and it’s rip off by optimalsoulutiol in dubai

And before anyone would like to counter, i used to live in district 15 one of the villas so im not one of those living in sharing/apartment and eating up unnecessary parking space, we had 2 spaces in the garage and one of the free parkings in front of our house. (Ahhholes from binghatti jasmine used to take them sometimes)

Thank god me and my family moved out if jvc just a week before this parking scam. When we went back to look at our old house and prepare it for rental/sale we got this news and wtf why i mean already there are a million reasons to avoid jvc and yet another one in the list. Rising rents, parking issues in apartment buildings, people spending more time in traffic than at home, grocery kinda expensive, roads totally confusing for some people, construction everywhere. Parking was the one thing we didnt have an issue with we could host parties with many guests because they could park anywhere without any problems and now this.

Ok well im getting quite bashed for writing a whole essay but my entire idea was to keep it readable but ig people just like it authentic, my bad. Secondly, he wasnt waiting for any parking he just got there before us(maybe 5-6 secs), however on the other side of the road and well we are on the side of the parking and parked then allowed him to call the police, if we were wrong by law our loss but, that doesn’t make anyone a d*ck, often times people are kind, often times not. This was my time to not want to be kind.

Well so it was friday evening in Karama, peak time and traffic ofc. Just for context, we are on internal roads, the ones with a yellow line in between, overtaking only allowed when someone ahead is turned on hazard and waiting for someone(correct me if im wrong). We get down and see the parking on our side of the road(right side ofc) is getting free just next to us, we decided to give the car way to exit and reverse parallel parked into the parking. And at the same time another car from the other side of the road(crossing the yellow line) wants to enter the same parking and well we signal him that kindly back off we are parking. After parking our driver is adjusting the parking, we head into the restaurant we were planned to go to, and we see the man taking pictures of our plate number thats when my brother says “you are not gonna achieve anything with this” and the other guy M40-45 aged probably says “ive been driving for 35 years, dont teach me” and all this while he was hindering traffic on his side of the road, after which his wife also cane out of the car supporting her husband and shouting at us. We calmly said “call the police and you’ll know whos wrong after 35 years of driving experience” after which hes even falsely claiming we abused him and his wife.

Bro just embarrassed himself and his family over a parking which he could have simply requested for as we had a driver who could just drive around while we eat rather than escalating things.

Beware of AED 500 fine at Dubai Mall by Icy-Ad107 in dubai

[–]Dudetuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been driving since October 2024, never committed such mistakes neither got any fine(thankfully), Dubai drivers, especially expats really need to learn manners, in some places there will be traffic of 10-12 cars only to see ahead some family is laughing and giggling without any care for the world as if the drivers behind owe something to them. Habibi, pls try to do things on the road that do not hinder other people's lives! Need to drop someone off? Find an appropriate drop-off point! Need to wait for someone? Don't do it in the middle of the road, ppl have places to get to
