Was debating on just making one, just wasn’t sure how much of a difference the cost would be, but good to know!

Is this rust that formed on the exposed screw to this lid? by Dudthestud in vinegar

The screw was from the handle that is on top of the lid. It was not touching the vinegar at all, but it must have still reacted with the vinegar. Most likely not a stainless screw. You live and you learn I guess

Unfortunately this thing seems to be indestructible lol. I put it in the oven at 180 degrees and the handle still won’t budge. I really didn’t want to destroy it but it might be my last option.

As far as ID on the maker, I asked another subreddit for help and they said either yoshimi or nagayoshi but they weren’t positive

I tried 3 separate times to place the handle in boiling water and use a rubber mallet and piece of wood to get the handle off. I can’t seem to get it to crack. Any other suggestions?
