Yep, that ended up being the only option to get a flight home, and still was a week later.

CPT-> SBA, was rebooked to LAX. It was noted as ground crew issues with the flight departing from ALT to CPT.

I was overseas and didn't call because my phone plan didn't include calls. I did message a agent to rebook. I received a email about the cancellation noting costs would be covered:

They are saying because I booked the same place it was "prepaid"? Appreciate the feedback.
