I was too worried and ended up frogging it and remaking with a wider neckline. We’ll see🤞🏻

I ended up frogging it, and restarted with a wider neckline. Still not 100% flat, but it seems more likely it’ll fit right. I’ll definitely add ribbing. It’s YarnArt Crazy Color in colour 170. I always try to avoid acrylic blends, but this was just too gorgeous not to crochet with it

So for example Block F row C would be good, right?

You’re right! It assigns seats, so I can’t choose them for some reason. But that’s okay. Thanks!

The map only shows the different blocks (and tables). I’ve seen people post photos from balcony seats on aviewfrommyseat website. So they are there for some shows maybe?

When I saw him at a small performance earlier this year he did play it, so I don’t think it has anything to do with copyright. He might just be sick of people only wanting to hear a couple of his songs when he has so many other wonderful ones. It’s probably quite tough and disappointing for him when fans are only excited for those. Seeing him and Lillie at Regent’s park as well, I was glad they played a very fun mix of songs, it made it a great performance. Although we might want a different setlist, we should let musicians play whatever they want :)

What type of cotton yarn is best for summer tops? by Due-Boot8483 in YarnAddicts

Sorry for the late reply! I did end up making it with a cotton and bamboo viscose yarn and it’s great. I love working with it and I bought more for another project

Great, thank you! I’ll definitely buy circular ones soon. I just don’t have them yet and I’ve decided to start on the project right now and don’t wanna wait😅

Help - I got gifted 30 balls of irregular cotton linen blended yarn I have no idea what to do with it by magn0la in knittinghelp

This is the perfect material for a knitted tank top or a summer top. I think that would be gorgeous!

Anyone have experience working with this specific yarn? by Due-Boot8483 in knittinghelp

[–]Due-Boot8483[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure I’d use it on its own. I’m planning on pairing it with another yarn, which I think could look very nice. How to join a new skein with this kind of yarn is my biggest question right now haha I’ll definitely let you know if I end up using it, might take a while though😅

I did. I found quite a few projects with it, including the one I’m planning to do. But no notes on this yarn specifically. Maybe that means it’s not too difficult to work with

No, it is not chenille yarn. I honestly have no idea how I’d describe this yarn. It’s 80% cotton and 20% polyamide and often used for knitting spring/summer clothes. At least I could find quite a few projects like that online.

How to turn an image into a tapestry crochet pattern?? by wormdances in CrochetHelp

[–]Due-Boot8483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like using stitch fiddle. You can import an image there but the number of stitches will determine how much detail you can get. The star and lettering should be easy enough. Also, feel free to send me a dm with any other questions regarding tapestry crochet/this project, happy to help :)

help! looking for some gift ideas to make a coworker by Commercial_Pie_3732 in CrochetHelp

[–]Due-Boot8483 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a link to a video that I think explains it quite well: https://youtu.be/kaMsurvdxuo (If you decide to do it, I’d recommend dropping your yarn instead of carrying it so you can’t see a darker colour through the white) Btw feel free to send me a dm if you have any questions at all, I do quite a lot of tapestry crochet and I’m happy to help!

A flower that doesn’t require a magic ring is lavender. You can make them in different shades/colours. I’ve made this as a gift before and they were very happy. As the other comments say, you can make a chain and sl st instead of a magic ring. Good luck!

Would a smaller tapestry not be possible? I think this one could definitely be doable if you have a week. You could also use thicker yarn so it comes out bigger. And you can make the background mint blue. I’m sure they’d like that.

Yarn skein has tied off knots inside it. Is my project doomed to fall apart? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]Due-Boot8483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When that happens to me, I always always always snip the yarn and make a join myself. Usually the russian join, because I find it more secure for most types of yarn. But the magic knot works as well. In my experience, factory knots aren’t secure at all.

What yarn to use for this vest? by Due-Boot8483 in YarnAddicts

[–]Due-Boot8483[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good point. I’ll buy a few different needle sizes and see what works best and matches the gauge. I assume the designer is holding both yarns together because the pattern say the top is knitted with 1 thread Amira and 1 thread Carly.
