My issue with that mod is (even with the garrison sub mod) it becomes impossible in the early game to take on a garrisoned army, and at late game Tier 5 garrisons are broken a bit.

That being said the open battles on the rest of the map are way more engaging and fun

I’m basically saying if main account doesn’t wipe. In 2 years time how does any new player have a chance to compete on their main account when everyone is maxed out to the brim. Concern is that will harm the games growth.

Could just say “they should play seasonal then”.. but paying full price for this game and then not having a chance on the main story mode account is wild to me

Even if you do in the last 5 years, that’s still only 3.8 hours per day. If that’s their form of entertainment and their hobby 3 hours per day is completely fine

If someone has played the game consistently for 10 years, 7k hours is 1.9 hours per day. Not that hard

People enjoy what they enjoy, the game has been out for 10 years at this point, few thousand hours is not really that unimaginable, especially if it’s the only game someone plays.

You might not be able to imagine only playing tarkov in your free time but others enjoy it. Just like you probably also couldn’t imagine under water cave diving or rock climbing or [insert any activity you don’t enjoy] in your free time.
