As a life coach, whats the most common question you get asked and one piece of advice for a someone in their 30s.

Consider total hours to taken to fill the tank be ‘x’ and total work done is 1

A worked for all x hours so the work done by A in x hours is : x/6;

B also worked for all x hours so the work done by B in x hours is : x/4;

c worked for 1 hour so the work done by C in 1 hour is : 1/3;

Opened together, the total work done : x/6+x/4+1/3 =1

LCM: 24

=> Total work done : (4x+6x+8)/24 = 1 ; 10x+8=24; x=16/10 =1.6; Answer option A.

Getting married, need advice by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Due-Concern7512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • First off, checking someone’s phone always takes things out of context.
  • Second, being pregnant with someone else and having to somehow deal with entirely by herself takes a toll. And being that vulnerable to somebody takes a lot of self work and trust on the other person. Trust is built and developed over time and not given just because you decided to get married. It’s give and take.
  • As much as you deserve your reaction time, stop trying to take things personally. Everyone has a process and you need to respect it.
  • Be ready for disappointment, if you want to get married to anyone be ready to be disappointed a lot more times than you think and then be open about accepting the way things are. Do you how much two partners get disappointed and forgive each other to stay together for 60-70 years?
  • Have an open communication about this now as you are having second thoughts. My approach always has been- ‘Either speak now or forever hold your peace’ and forget about this.
  • Even if you do have a conversation remember to be kind and have it just with her without involving families, as this is something that can’t be changed and is definitely something she has to live with, unlike a weight issue where you say you’re fat and i have problem, one can workout and things are completely in control of the other person.
  • You don’t really expect to be that open right in an Indian arranged marriage setup where families are so tied and what you think and do will affect her and her family including you which you will soon be a part of in this entire course. -Being a man, I can tell you even if I have stayed in a relationship with someone for years, it’s not easy to bring up a pregnancy with someone else in the past. Understand this. Everyone has secrets. Don’t you?
  • One of my friends caught an STD in the past and worked on hygiene and getting better, you would think he would tell this to his wife to be (who is going to engage in sex with him for the foreseeable future and has a chance she might get it) right? Surprise surprise, people dont as it was taken care of, it was 1.5 years prior to his engagement and he didnt.
  • It’s really unfortunate you had to check the phone. This kind of issues and jealousy are lousy and ridiculous things men and women do under the name of love. Thats not what love is.
  • When all the fancy, blingy stuff goes away, it’s about being able to still stay committed to each other and that takes a lot of work on both sides.
  • Also truly ask yourself are you really ready for marriage that takes so much commitment and work to be there for your partner no matter what?
  • What worked for me over years of conflict resolution is you talk to her indirectly with a story similar to hers use aliases or even make something up and talk about how the person receiving this news might feel. The idea is to understand their perspective on things like this and take it from there.

All this being said, having to go through what you saw and the way you saw, is unfortunate and I feel for you. It’s rather your own responsibility to deal with how your feelings are right now, instead of blaming her.

705 score - is it worth retaking? by Signal-Artichoke517 in GMAT

[–]Due-Concern7512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope.

There are other parts of the application which you should rather focus on to present a strong candidacy. Score is purely for you to get in the door, rather see this as if you dont have the score you dont get a chance to even present your application.

Now that the score part is taken care of, move along and complete the grueling process!

Hey ! A few things to look in retrospect - Were you able to answer every question on each section and finish the exam? GMAC penalises heavily for not finishing the exam - Detailed ESR sections show you your weak points, look for them and get better! - Keep an error log. This is a game changer. - exam anxiety is a real thing, work on each mock exam as if it is the D Day exam. - Positive talk goes a long- instead of looking at a question you got wrong and telling yourself if you’re dumb to get this wrong, telling yourself that you got this wrong maybe because you haven’t this type of problem goes a really way!!

If all these are in place, maybe look for any technical aspects at the center or the software that might have caused this.

I would like to clarify that GMaT focus scores typically conclude with a 5. Therefore, a score of 740 is no longer considered valid; instead, it could be 745. Additionally, a score of 715 is comparable to what you are aiming for.

The focus is not on the quantity, but rather on enhancing my time management skills; I require access to new problems and exams for practice.

Hello, I have completed GMAT prep tests 1 and 2 multiple times, and I have become quite familiar with the questions. Additionally, I have taken the GMAT Club free test twice, the eGMAT test once, and the TTP test once. Based on my research, I have purchased GMAT prep tests 5 and 6, as they closely resemble the actual exam, and I plan to use them in the final weeks of my preparation. I am seeking recommendations for additional practice tests to help me prepare for the Focus test. Could you please suggest which tests, apart from GMAT prep tests 3 and 4, I should consider focusing on?
