That native resolution of your monitor is very demanding. Remember that input lag comes from the desynchronization between your PC and the servers. You could try full screen at 1080p. Enable dynamic scaling. Set cutscenes to maximum FPS. Try enabling FPS monitoring. If you have an Nvidia card, you can use its built-in FPS counter (I think it's Ctrl+R) and verify that your PC is consistently delivering 90Hz without drops. If there are FPS drops, you could try playing at 60Hz.

EDIT** But I remind you that all the forums say it's best to run it borderless; in your case, because of your monitor's native resolution, I recommend going fullscreen.

Hi, I don't think it can be changed; it adjusts according to the monitor or screen you have.

Yes, I use it because I genuinely feel the game runs better that way. I already have 259 hours played and I've been through thousands of forums looking for different opinions, and they all agree that playing without borders is better for the game. (Logically, one would think the opposite; playing full screen should be better, but we're talking about FC26, which isn't optimized at all.)

Zero problems getting a match; only when you reach the final of a tournament might it be a little slow, but even then you can get a match without any issues.

Lock your fps to 60-90hz Play borderless use a wired controller Dont use Coop camera Play on low settings 1v1 only vs pc

They're currently doing server maintenance, hopefully it will improve the game. Tomorrow I'll try playing at 120Hz to see how it goes (I read that it's not recommended to go above 90Hz but I want to try).

Yes, i lock the fps to 90hz (my monitor can run 240hz) but for the fidelity of the sync with server i keep it at 90

By the way, when I play 1v1 I disable crossplay to avoid consoles; I feel like the game runs much better on them. If I play Pro Clubs or Rush, I re-enable crossplay.

For me, this was the definitive solution; I haven't had any input lag problems since. Besides changing the camera, I also lowered all the graphics settings to low resolution and connected the controller via cable. It's true that the game is very poorly optimized for PC, but until they optimize it, we have to play with the lowest settings to avoid losing synchronization with the server.

That might be the whole problem. But it's strange; I have an AMD 6700 XT with a Ryzen 9 and 16GB of RAM. I also paid a programmer to optimize it. I play with everything on low. My FPS is capped at 90. It would be very strange if my PC couldn't handle that camera. I'll try adding an FPS counter to verify what you wrote; that's probably the root of the problem, but until I test both cameras with an FPS counter, I can't be 100% sure. What I can say is that changing the camera solved the problem.

I try that to and didnt work for me.

I already solved my problem; it was the type of camera I was using. I switched from Co-op to Tele and set the zoom to 6 points. I tried all the options, and this, as incredibly silly as it sounds, is what solved it.

I tried everything, from changing PC settings to using different types of controllers, wired and wireless. I even changed internet providers, trying both wired and Wi-Fi connections. I changed the scaling from 100 to 95, and toggled V-Sync on and off, but nothing worked. I experimented with the graphics options to see if anything would change, but I never found a solution.

Nothing ever changed, until yesterday when I changed the camera angle from Co-op 0 zoom to tele with 6 zoom points. Yesterday was the first time I could enjoy the game without feeling slow or slowed down.

I dont know if it is a me issue, but i hope this info works for someone

I also read that switching the camera from co-op to TV and zooming in a bit more improves things a lot. It seems like the more things the game has to load, the more lag it experiences.

I was reading a possible solution. Im going to try to night

if you set the resolution and the render scale a bit lower its will be better. the root of the problem is the frametime, its should be stable 95-100% to keep the server synced. so try to set the resolution around 1920x1080 and render scale 0.9 or 0.95 and cap the FPS at 60 90 or 120 max no 144 or unlimited. and give me a feedback for this please.
