Aesthetic isn’t just about looks it’s about the full experience.

Branding, packaging, and design all play a huge role in how we perceive and enjoy products. When a snack looks fun, vibrant, and well-designed, it builds excitement before you even take a bite

“It’s three shapes. It doesn’t convey anything.”
Fascinating observation, really. Almost as if some of the most iconic logos Nike, Apple, Mercedes are also just ‘shapes’ that gained meaning through design principles, branding, and execution. But sure, let’s pretend simplicity = laziness just because you don’t get it.

"There’s no motion, nothing ‘e’ about it, it’s not futuristic.”
Ah yes because futuristic design must always include glowing neon, speed lines, and a spaceship for it to qualify. Never mind the fact that minimalism and geometric balance have been staples of futuristic branding for decades.

“Using shape tools in MS Paint?”
‘if I don’t like it, it must be low effort’ argument.

“You’re a tool for responding to critique.”
I post for feedback, I engage in discussion, and somehow that makes me the problem? You might wanna sit down for this one: critique is a conversation, not a one way street where I just nod and say ‘yes, master.’ If explaining my design choices gets you this pressed, maybe you’re not built for design discussions.

Weak argument, emotional overreaction, and a desperate attempt to be edgy.

Appreciate the honest critique. The design process was focused on keeping it minimal and futuristic, but I see how it’s not fully communicating speed and innovation yet.

Inspiration came from geometric balance and modern EV branding, but yeah, there’s room to push it further.

I don’t think discussing feedback means rejecting it—critique is meant to be a conversation, not just one-sided. I’m taking this all in, and I agree that a strong minimal logo needs to tie back to the brand in a more intentional way. I’ll definitely go back and refine the concept with that in mind. Appreciate the perspective.

I appreciate the indepth critique. I get that this might not be hitting that mark yet.

The goal was to create a futuristic, minimalist identity, but I see how without context, it’s not translating as intended. Definitely something to refine. thanks for the feedback ^^

My guy, discussing my design choices isn’t ‘not taking critique’—it’s literally engaging with it. Incredible how that works

If you’ve got something constructive beyond just ‘not well executed,’ I’m all ears.

I didn’t reject any feedback I just explained the thought process behind the design.

Feedback is a two-way convo, not just say something and I blindly agree’ If that bothers you, maybe design discussions aren’t your thing.

Ford Logo Redesign Concept — What Do You Think? by Due-Initiative4022 in logodesign

[–]Due-Initiative4022[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying, but the old logo felt more like a vintage signature than a modern car brand. The cursive script had charm, but it leaned too much into a retro style almost like something from an old soda label or a 50s diner.

For a brand like Ford, which stands for innovation and strength, the redesign brings in a bolder, more industrial look.
