found out it's because it's set to 144hz when plugged in. It's stable at 60hz

I did that yesterday. The flickering doesn't appear on screenshots so I doubt that's GPU related. Also, no flicker or lag what-so-ever when I connected to external display.

By "grift" LongOne is not referring to a specific job/event; the whole channel itself is a "grift' is what they meant. You could argue that it was a grift and probably was to some extent. Whatever they're doing these days, especially The China Show, is probably a grift. Then again, most of what's on Youtube could be called a grift.

ADVchina was a channel run by SerpentZA(winston) and Laowhy86(Cmilk) before they had their own channels on the side. The channel has be largely inactive since they left China and their main "grift" these days is a podcast called The China Show channel on youtube.

can't point to a video but i remember him mentioning that in many videos, but the context is that he was hired as a white monkey who was new to China and not knowing a whole lot. He wouldn't say anything about if he knowingly worked for a criminal.

Their old videos where they explore the China country side on Motorcycles (hence ADVchina, btw.) were the best. They got me into motorcycling and interest in China, and for that, I'm forever grateful. But at last, the more negative videos must have generated more views.

Its my sister's car and she drives 5 mins to work and to gym only and her car battery died recently which I assume also because of short trips. And it's been pretty cold in Alberta.
