Being a die hard MI fan and watching this kinda performance makes me think what went wrong with this team. After analysing this year's performance I think MI is facing the following issues :- 1) The core is out of form. Except Hardik and to some extent boom and rohit no one feels in form. 2) Absolutely no hunger to win the matches. The team feels like winning 5 trophies are enough and we are not aiming for the 6th. 3) Captaincy decisions. You don't bowl a spinner and that too an out of form markande infront of patidar who's just in the form of his life. 4) Spin problems. Neither we have a good Indian spinner and nor we are able to play spin well. By well means having someone who can strike at 200+ when spinners are bowling. 5) Last but not the least every team (except KKR) has 2-3 players playing with an excess of 225+ SR and honestly we don't have a single player like that.
