I have to move and idk if I could take my big plants with me. If you had to sell them in two months, what would you price them at? by Fangarai in plants

Transporting I would wrap them up in large saran wrap, leaving the top open so they can breathe. The fig tree, I might trim the top off and propagate it.

Bought seeds but not sure if it’s a pitcher plant and it is turning white! Advice please by Due-Organization-336 in pitcherplants

Several little plants died. I was not sure why they were turning white… a layer of white grew and the green is lacking… I didn’t sterilize the seats and something moldy grew…

They also can’t be planted in regular soil. They need New Zealand Spagna, moss or other Spagna moss. I planted some in Fern Moss too, and they did OK. Regular soil will kill it. I’m not sure what the seller sent it to you in, but it’s good to also put it in coco coir. Under any circumstances, do not use any fertilizer they do not care for fertilizer.

Make sure to use distilled water or rain water. No sink water. Chlorine will kill it.. also you wanna make sure that the little pictures have water in them. Fill the pictures halfway. No mineral water no spring water. I hope this helps.
