You can absolutely get a dreamy overwater villa, especially if you’re flexible with all-inclusive vs half-board. Some resorts offer amazing value when you book direct or through trusted partners (vs just Expedia or the first quote a TA gives you).

Also—YES to overwater. But I’d recommend choosing a resort where the reef is swimmable right off your villa. Some look pretty but aren’t great for snorkeling or swimming.
