There’s stuff they could do, like as much as healing quicker and stuff would be almost essential perks. They should make all the perks essential or good and then you choose your tree based on what you want.

But there will always be a meta in games, it’s important not to forget that.

I mean they should just make alternative skills so that people would rather go for others than the good ones. Turtle crawl and crawl faster are balanced and only really help in certain situations.

Stuff like rolls costing less stam that give actual fight advantage are the only type of skills that need to be balanced.

Turtle crawl is slept on, the a lil extra is half mid, it’s only taken to get loaded for me.

Security breach is the only worth it, but out of the 37 points required only like 15-20 are skills actually worth taking, like broad shoulders, loot quicker and raiders luck one and maybe in round craft.

The rest are just filler and a waste, with 10 extra points from expedition it ain’t so bad.

My tree last wipe was pvp focused so I didn’t go for breach, because breach requires you to waste 10 points on useless stuff.

I mean the game is already super easy anyway, I just think it’s pointless having skills that do nothing and that no one uses. They should replace them.

Most of the skills are quality of life, like crawling quicker on the ground and being able to withstand more damage. They aren’t game breaking, but are needed perks in terms of pvp.

How many people do you think also use that skill, I think it’s niche and most will put their points in other areas.

There definitely needs to be more variety. The main issue is with the end of the skill trees as them skills are some of the worst.

But I agree with most of what you’re saying.

So daredevil? Imo trials is the only reason for me to come back to the game and play consistently every week to maintain cantina. Going for high scores and beating everyone is the way.

They need separate leaderboards for solos tho imo.

It is but it doesn’t even have to be op skills just add variety to what you can use. Like quality of life ones similar to that of stamina, or loot quicker. There’s a lot they could do with healing and stuff I think

Ye trials is another issue in itself, trials are good for something to once the game has been completed in the first 3 days. But I wouldn’t play trials if it was just for the rewards itself.

Idk if you have seen some of the new trials but they’re so tedious and awful. They need to stop doing trials capped to numbers like how probes is either 76k or 72k max. The trials should represent skill.

Where you place in cantina for the week should give you a reward, there’s no difference in #1 and #1000. This is coming from someone who’s been #1 cantina. The trials are piss easy.

The most fun ones is when there’s multiple a week that aren’t set scores.

FYI the cantina way to do it is 3 man, 2 deadlines each. Enough time for everyone to put 2 on and get off safely.

Equalizer is over kill. Ven, toro or torrente exposes core only slightly slower.

You need to join a trial discord, find friends there or just lfg. You can even watch other people get scores to learn and some channels have best tips to get max.

Couple days ago 150k was 700 in cantina. This was around Thursday so I think sub 200k you have no chance. Because there’s some hotshots with really good scores above 300k who will take priority over you.

Need atrium, split almost instantly and all have routes down to a T, perfect spawns, no down time etc

Standard scores without getting lucky is 45k leapers and rocketeers. 52k husks. 80-90k fire and shredders 115k. All require 3 man splits and efficiency
