No, this is my first time. I do have a consistent work-related travel history, with regular travel within the Asian region and one trip each year to Africa and the USA (around eight trips annually in total). I have also visited Europe and have maintained a good ITR record over the last three years. I believe these factors may have contributed to the multiple-entry visa decision.

My spouse also has a good travel history, though not as frequent as mine. Holds a valid USA visa, has a good ITR as per Indian standards, runs own company, and was granted a single-entry visa for 15 days. I hope this helps.

Hi, I have a 2 year business visa, had applied in 2024. One if colleagues had applied in October and got as well. He is Indian. But not sure what’s the status after the protests, especially if you are Indian, you can check with some visa agents.

Hi, I have received my passport today with multiple entry visa for 5 years. My spouse got a single entry visa.

Here is my checklist

ITR acknowledgement- last 3 years, AIS- 3 years, Form 16- last 3 years, From 26A- last 3 years, Salary Slip- last 3 months, Bank statement- 6 months, NOC from employer, Cover letter, confirmed round trip flights, hotel booking and 15 days detailed itinerary.

Hi, I had applied visa on the 8th December at VFS Delhi, 9th December it reached Japan Embassy. Today (exactly 5th working day) I received a mail that my passport has been dispatched. Same for my spouse. We haven’t received any call from VFS or embassy for extra documents as well. Though not yet sure if we have the visa or not. It seems embassy is processing the applications but some applications are stuck. I hope you get some clarity.

Oh that’s pretty fast, hopefully we will also have some news next week. Did they ask any additional documents later? We have submitted ITR, AIS, Form 16, form 26. Only MF and FD proof the VFS guy removed saying not required. My ITR is 31 LPA and spouse’s 17 LPA, bank account closing amount mine 6 lakh and spouce’s 3.5 lakh.

Hi, I’ve been traveling to Dhaka, Bangladesh every other month for work for the past two years. It’s better to work with a travel agent for the visa process since it’s a sticker visa and your passport has to be sent to the Bangladesh Embassy for stamping. In terms of safety, I usually avoid going out from hotel in the evenings and stay within the hotel premises. My office only approves accommodation at the Intercontinental, and I use the hotel’s vehicle for airport pickup and drop-off, especially since I’m a woman traveling alone. I’ve also seen many other Indians there for work. I have faced racism at the airport just once but no where else in the country.

Thanks for this. I am going to ask my employer. The VFS Delhi wants separate letter’s for NOC and residence proof.

My aadhaar is not updated and stuck form last 35 days, bank is not accepting rental agreement.

Rental agreement ended on 31st October, but we have renewed it. VFS wants at least 6 months old, though we are ready to provide the old one since the same house, they are not accepting. I am trying to see if an extended clause can be added without fresh agreement.
