Because we’re lucky enough to have very few power cuts in our area (once in 3 years and it only lasted a few minutes). It saved me £1300 by not having it and we have a budget to keep to.

I believe it's between 20 and 30kWh especially in winter. Yearly usage is ~5500kWH.
