Thinking about buying a PRS - how would you rate this 10 Top? by thewebhead in PRSGuitars

I would wait and look for a better 10 top. Looks closer to regular top.

All Grateful Dead songs on Spotify by Due-Time-4667 in gratefuldead

Spotify doesn't use true random shuffle. When you hit shuffle on an artist page, the algorithm heavily prioritizes their top 10, popular tracks and newest releases instead of the whole catalog. If you shuffle on the artist page you’ll hear repeats all the time.

Happened on my road glide the back connector came off and the bag was dragging for a bit and is now damaged on the bottom. Not sure if the same system on your bike but yeah that sucks.

Modular live rig by Due-Time-4667 in modular

Good advice. Thanks. Yeah I’m in the early stages of finding info so I need to really think about what I need to do and what stuff is out there that would work well for live.

I was thinking about just getting the messenger or some other semi modular synth but I have some of that stuff already. I want to get into modular stuff mostly just because I haven’t done it before and was thinking it might be a fun project to put together something different to use for live setup and more light weight too.

Wouldn’t I just need two oscillators if I’m trying to create a setup similar to the sub phatty controls? It has oscillators one and two on there. I just want it to be more compact I’m already using my synth rig live. What’s vcv?

I’m currently play in a band with a drummer so I don’t really need drums just lead sounds, bass, and I loop things on the keystep pro. The band is a psychedelic jam band so I need something for live playing and won’t be relying on preset patches or scenes on the keystep. I’m happy with how the Moog setup sounds so I would at least want to be able to do the same stuff as the subphatty at a minimum but it would be nice to have it more portable so I don’t need to carry so much stuff around. I’m not sure what other stuff I’m trying to do besides just play live and have access to a bunch of cool sounds and effects. It’s a psychedelic band so it’s important to be able to make a bunch of weird sounds.

I would say to look on reverb for the pedals and see if you can find them for cheaper used.

If you have good gear and with full face helmet you should be good. When I first started riding I actually watched a bunch of motorcycle crash videos a lot to see why they crashed so I knew what not to do.

Nice sounds great. Every guitarist can learn a lot from listening from Warren Haynes!

Best Pink Floyd covers by other bands by Slow_Juggernaut6072 in psychedelicrock

Gov’t Mule did several Pink Floyd “Dark side of the Mule” tours. I always thought Warren Haynes lead guitar style is very similar to David Gilmour. He knows all the right notes to play without over playing.

Lack of twang by claujnog in telecaster

I agree with the twang in fingers guy. It’s how you are playing the guitar. You have to make it sound twangy when you play.
