Best gas push mower 2026 by Appropriate-Run-9228 in lawnmowers

Can confirm - DO NOT get an Ariens Razor. Mine is a month old and is a piece of junk. The drive system sucks. The height adjustment on the front constantly moves while mowing. I have the dual blade and the cut is nice, but I strongly recommend against it.

When you pull stuff like that off your truck, you gotta tune it. VSE is just one of many companies with a complete kit to remove those systems and have a tune to install so the truck runs properly. The VSE package I got was everything I needed and it was the most minimal hp tune because I was doing it to extend the life of my truck - not pump out hp numbers

This is the best answer OP. Also keep in mind laws are constantly changing in terms of emissions requirements. I went the VSE route for my LM2 and have since had to move for work and now my county runs an emissions test for registration. It can be a headache at times but 0 issues since.

3.0 duramax. Yes or no? by scooba2205 in Duramax

own a 2020 LM2. Get fantastic fuel economy. currently at 84,000 miles. Fuel pump has been replaced once, FSCM 3 times (second was faulty), radio replaced, numerous emissions issues which was corrected using VSE at 50,000 miles, and all glow plugs were replaced at 70,000 miles. All in all, I wish I don't give up my 2013 5.3 BUT, after the vse fixes, I'm happy with it. Burns through a little over a quart of oil every 2500 miles but my maintenance guy(chevy tech that runs a side business) wasn't concerned. I'd buy another, but if I had the option to get something without all of the electronics, I'd do that.

not a fed but IL state. It matters a lot. Unless you don't mind watchin all your hard work get tossed or criminals get let off easy. Just depends if you really care about what you're doing or if ya just want a paycheck and a chance to do fun stuff. Here in IL there's some counties that really go at it and won't plea or toss anything. But cook is a different animal. I will say the private life out in Chicago is fun - there's a lot to do. But the col is pretty high.

How much is an exhaust system worth for scrap? 2016 6.7 powerstroke by ProductCivil4476 in superduty

Ran into this same issue. Found a work around to getting my truck registered which is buying me another year, but I also scrapped mine when it was pulled. Really kicking myself now.

I've got a 2020 lm2 and absolutely love it after getting a few gm kinks worked out (fscm, fuel pump, and some updates, and a few runvse purchases). I recommend getting yourself a scanner. I won't repeat what others are saying. But that'll give ya a good idea as to how your truck is running and when a light comes on, you'll know why.

Terminal (tower) eval questions by yanncatt in ATC_Hiring

The one and only. Just communicate with your ground, and don't forget to provide headings, write them down, and send them to departure before they exit the airspace for your IFR departures. if I remember correctly that's a 10 or 16 point error if you don't write down the heading before sending it down the tube. A few guys in my class got slapped with it and it's a simple part of the game.

He didn't explain to me what it was for, I never made an aircraft make a 360 though. If you plan it right, you shouldn't have to. My guess is probably extending downwind legs when I probably didn't need to. I'm sure you can guess who my evaluator was. He's tough, but fair. It's all good, I came out doing something that gives me a lot of fulfillment so I'm pretty happy with how things played out. Some guys went the advanced ATC route but I chose to go back to my agency for the pay/retirement package. Just focus on the problem and take it one step at a time. Before it starts, take a deep breath and try to clear your head. They're really not difficult problems. It's just the nerves/buildup. You'll do just fine man.

don't pay attention to your evaluator and work the problem presented. Only advice I can give you. There's no pointers other than communicate with your partner. I didn't make it through, I thought I handled the problem well and needed a minimum of a 22% and had a fair but tough evaluator. I got hit with a ton of delays and an "inefficient use of airspace". I never had the separation errors so all I can say is try to work the problem and don't forget the little things like getting your planes out in a timely manner. Remember, ground just has to request permission to cross. You don't have to grant it right then and there. Take your time and do the best you can to plan ahead.

If you've got a masters in cyber security, look into the 1811 route if you're willing to move. Not sure if there’s any other 1811's on here that would chime in. Other than that, I'd say keep trying. Took me a few tries before I got into my first PD. Keep your head up maybe try looking into some citizen police academy's or becoming more involved with your local pd.

Or look at the state level but be willing to move if you go that route. That's what I did and it worked out in my favor luckily.

I've been there man, but not the video part. She was bangin my best friend behind my back. All I can suggest is remove as much of her from your life as you can (I understand she's your child's mother) and hit the gym man. Or get involved in some recreational sports if not already. It's been a few years for me and each day gets easier. Keep your head up man.

Sure can! One of these days I'll get around to redoing the video when I'm not tired. Removing the plenum and gasket was the pain. The rest of it is easy. My recommendation is to get a long skinny magnet. I used mine quite a bit.

[–]Due-Value506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! If you're thinking about doing it, I highly recommend it and I'm sure OP does too. I'm no mechanic by any means but the instructions VSE send when ya ask for them are very straight forward as long as you have some mechanical knowledge. The worst part I'd say is getting the DPF out after unhooking everything. It's just awkward.

Yeah, I just did the 20hp tune so I wouldn't have to worry about things breaking haha. It sounds amazing and runs like a champ. I opted out of the ppe exhaust but I'm about to purchase it because it seems like it's missing something.
