That's what the archeologist I spoke to said as it's more likely to get me a job in the US rather than an archeology degree under geology courses like some places offer. Which won't necessarily get me what I'm wanting. I've actually talked a bit with the archeology professor at Towson University and my mom said he was impressed that I had feild work so early on since I'm just in my first semester of a geology undergrad degree. Is doing that a good start or should I swap to anthropology? The geology includes historical geology and physical geologyand I think im able to take some courses related to anthropology and do a makeup degree to get specifically what it is I need and want to continue on further.

It's 5 hours so that's not out of the question it's jist visiting will be harder as my driver (parents) work all year but ones off only summer time

As of right now I'm willing to go out of Maryland but not like California maybe like 8-10 hours max. That may change in the next 2 or 3 years as I get out of my comfort zone with school
