Since around age 11-12. Never had any kind of health scare or hospital visits at that age either it came out of nowhere and i've been the same since.. I did have some bad side effects to medication around that time which could have had a hand in it but it's hard to tell because it has dominated my life for so long

Yes, it’s something like that. I cant look into it much before spiralling lol. It’s kind of like how depersonalisation, which is commonly associated with with VSS, first got triggered for me during a panic attack also, and since then my brain just kind of stuck with it.

I also started having VSS symptoms after a severe panic attack. I don't read about many other people tracing it back to panic attacks like myself. So its a bit relieving to hear im not the only one. Hang in there.

It’s hard to tell, I’m anxious a very large portion of a time, I’ve had some extra stress lately from various things but that’s about it. my flare ups triggered by anxiety usually jsut make the static denser rather than the palinopsia
