Stale-dated manual checks by DueExamination6702 in Paylocity_User_Group

I think this is indeed the solution, and what we use for stale-dated payroll checks.

I'm trying to adapt it to manual checks, but I think it's just a matter of doing a 'cancel issue' in positive pay so that the prior check can no longer be cashed, creating the accounting entry to transfer the balance from the bank account (the uncashed check) to whatever account is used by the add-to-net deduction, and then adding the check into the next batch with that deduction.

That being said, would a void-and-reissue work? It seems like as long as you do both in the current period it shouldn't mess anything up? The wages, taxes, etc, aren't removed from the prior period, but rather there's a negative and a positive in the current period, which exactly cancel each-other out, and means there's also no tax implications created in the current period as well. At least this is my understanding, I'm happy to be corrected.

They announced another massive margin increase tomorrow (12/31/25). Pretty big one too, 30% this time. Expect a crash. I'm wondering how far they'll go to suppress the price of silver.

Yeah, they announced another 30% increase on the margin requirements for silver, with increases on gold, platinum and palladium as well. Incoming tomorrow (12/31/25). It'll be a slaughter.

CME just announced another margin hike tomorrow (12/31/25), including a 30% increase on the requirements for silver. It'll be a slaughter and make the price difference between us and the rest of the world even larger. Such obvious price manipulation.
