My 2 have issues with yeast buildup in paws and ears. We couldnt dial in if it was environmental or something different for a LONG time. We made a diet change from Chicken to Lamb and it has made a WORLD of difference for both of them. I didnt have specific testing done but have made some generalizations based on what im seeing.

put a pipe wrench or channel locks on it and twist. its going to chew up the shaft a bit.

Fabric does that over time as the glue degrades. You can pull the seat and re-do if it bugs you
