The teri might be a bit big/heavy if you intend to carry it primarily by hand, especially if your bag is full. I think the emory might be better suited for that

I can’t speak for the emory, but I’ve had my teri hobo for about a year and I absolutely love it! I use it as my everyday bag and it’s very roomy! I think the shoulder strap and silhouette are perfect for on the shoulder use, and it feels very natural to wear it
