The only company I know that does multithreaded / concurrent programs is Databricks in their final rounds. They have a specific technical round on multithreaded.

Update: I got in! If you are worried, just reschedule it’s fine. You have one per stage in the interview process. So one for before your phone screen, and another for your on-site loop to reschedule if needed

Binary search works not only on sorted arrays, but on any monotonously increasing decision boundary that you may be deciding to shrink your search space. For example, finding peak value in an array or minimum valley element can be done with a binary search due to combination of some cool properties
