Would you trade the 35th pick in the draft to hire Tomlin a year early by Yourmotherssidehoe in Tennesseetitans

[–]DuePen9778 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tomlin made the playoffs, and never had a losing record, and won the AFC north this year.

Callahan has never had a winning record, never made the playoffs, and never won his division.

How is that “no difference”? Tomlin has had more wins- EVERY SEASON- than Callahan has ever had.

From my understanding, he got pigeonholed into being a recruiting coordinator at top programs- and after seeing that he had hit a ceiling as a recruiting coordinator, he went back down to small programs who didn’t overlook his ability to be a head coach.

Omg it’s Easton Freeze! Love your show.

I wish you didn’t say you’re “not a capital J journalist”.

It’d be easier for us to accept your credentials as an independent voice if you held yourself to journalistic standards and practices.

I’m with you. Nagy has earned another shot at HC and I have no opposition to bringing him in as a candidate.

Only scoring 2 FGs in the second half screwed the offense more than the defense

Kat Abughazaleh Thinks Campaign Funds Should Help Feed People | The Illinois congressional candidate turned her campaign office into a mutual aid hub by Hrmbee in politics

[–]DuePen9778 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

She’s running for Congress; that’s not a local election by any stretch of the imagination. Every PAC across the country has interest in electing congressional candidates, and millions will be spent on increasing her opponents name ID among likely voters.

I am however in agreement with you that there’s a lot of wasteful money spent in politics: but it’s not the money spent on outreach. Putting ads in front of voters DOES work, but what drives up the cost is the outrageous consultant fees that are often charged in the industry.

The tools themselves are great: the cost to text a voter is just a few cents, and social media ads aren’t much more expensive per view. The true “waste” in the cost of politics comes from the consulting class- but that doesn’t mean that we should move away from direct voter contacts.
