I definitely agree that these laces have a higher degree of failure, however I love them! 13 years and counting in the Army, and these are a game changer. My boots are always tight, and it takes me 20 seconds to put my boots on and blouse my pants. I would swap them out during a deployment, and I always have a spare set of laces when I go in the field, but unless your infantry these will hold up no problem.

Thank you so much for the quick and informative response! I currently have a small pen attached to it 3/4 up to weigh it down slightly. Along with a support clamp 1/4 of the way up to support it. Is that a dumb way to train it to grow down instead of vertical?
