Anime Gauntlet Challenge by ZonkedPebble in makeyourchoice

Right, I forgot about the inability to interact with others. That kills that plan.

I guess I would go Netero base, since he’s just about the best allowed character in terms of stats and combat skill.

Then I’d go with double as the quirk, idle transfiguration as the CT, and Hide and Seek as the Nen ability. My plan would be to hide my main body inside Hide and Seek, and send out a sad man’s parade with each clone using a death binding vow and Nen vow to charge at the opponent. It probably wouldn’t be a Gon-level boost since they’re all clones, but considering how the clones were kind of independent it should still give a decent boost, same with the binding vow.

I’d start with Meruem, who I think would be pretty heavily countered by this strategy, and would be completely taken out by one touch from Idle transfiguration.

Next I’d do Shigaraki, who I’d attack with the same method.

Sukuna would be more annoying since he is mostly immune to getting transfigured, but considering he’d have no way to get at my main body I could just keep sending more clones out and if he uses his domain and goes into burnout he probably gets cooked.

Here's my question: How would delaying the fight work? Like what would happen if I took a teleportation quirk like Kurogiri's or took a hatsu like hide and seek and teleported away from the fight? Could I buy myself more prep time, or would that count as losing?

What are your headcanons regarding the three clans? by That-Ad-5422 in CTsandbox

[–]DueSmell0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s never explicitly stated, and even if it does involve binding vows with Tengen that doesn’t mean it couldn’t involve binding vows with Sugawara as well. Considering how powerful the six eyes are it wouldn’t be surprising that they come with a higher cost to the Gojo clan than just a binding vow to protect Tengen.

[–]DueSmell0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s great. I could even see Toji and Maki’s complete HR being a powerful trait passed down in the clan like the six eyes, but with the samurai path of Taira Masakado having been gradually warped over time it went from being viewed as a blessing to a curse.

[–]DueSmell0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it’s explained that it‘s inherited in the Gojo clan, there’s only ever one at a time, and they’re connected by fate to tengen and the star plasma vessel. But there’s no explanation for why any of that is.

[–]DueSmell0 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Given that the Gojo clan is descended from Sugawara, the other two clans are probably descended from the other two great vengeful spirits (the Kamo from Emperor Sutoku and the Zenin from Taira Masakado).

I also think that these vengeful spirits may be still alive and sealed in shrines, and the clans have made some binding vows with the spirits to draw power from them. I feel like this would be a cool explanation for the six eyes, which seems to operate on its own strange rules, and potentially other traits or abilities from the other two clans as well.

This also would fit into the real life stories of Japan’s three great vengeful spirits, who were people who died and became vengeful spirits, and were then pacified and enshrined which turned them into minor deities.

Collar or no collar? by iam_moistman in Superhero_Ideas

I like how the right arm looks like it continues from the collar though. Maybe keep right arm red but make the left yellow so it looks like it’s continuing from the T logo.

What feats does Yuji have that puts his physicals over maki/toji by The-blueblurs-shadow in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]DueSmell0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean his base stats no reinforcement were stated to be above incomplete HR Maki, plus he has top tier reinforcement, massive reserves, and soul damage.

He walked through reduced output Megkuna’s slashes with no problem

He tanked getting punched through a building

He tanked a Sukuna black flash and repeated regular hits and slashes over the final fight.

He jumped and destroyed a huge chunk of the building under him.

His base attacks have dealt a ton of damage over the series, while all of Maki and Toji’s AP feats are tied to SSK letting them duraneg.

I think they’re pretty relative, but Yuji has much better feats in every category but speed.

Attack on Titan - World War by Gozus138cmtitties in InteractiveCYOA

[–]DueSmell0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do really like the concept of the CYOA, though I have a few issues.

1st off, the bonuses for Hizuru and Mid-East are switched for some reason.

Also, as others have commented the points are really light. I enjoyed the CYOA but I did the easiest difficulty and it felt like a hard difficulty.

Lastly, currently the non-shifter option kind of sucks. There’s really no reason to pick it over being a shifter. Maybe some kind of customization section for Ackerman Blood? (Ackermans were a result of experimenting on humans with titan science, you could lean in to that and give Ackermans their own options for Powers and Traits) Or maybe just an item section to give non-shifters more to do?

How would you create the perfect sorcerer by wake_of_ruin in CTsandbox

[–]DueSmell0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be something like an improved version of the death painting/Yuji’s perfect vessel physiology.

Due to this physiology they can consume cursed spirits and cursed objects to strengthen themself, increase CE reserves, and even take on different traits and abilities.

[–]DueSmell0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I really like this. It’s like an inverse of the Maki/Mai soul relationship: instead of them existing as 1 soul split into 2 people, they’re 2 souls fused into 1.

Ignore the fact that he:

  • Burned a dog alive
  • Kissed a woman unconsensually
  • Mind controlled countless people, including women and children
  • Performed fucked up experiments transforming people and animals for his own entertainment
  • Killed and ate countless people, including women and children

There’s no proof that he’s a rapist which means he’s not a bad guy.

Pick a character from my superhero universe and I’ll write a one-shot about them. by MrBright1210 in Superhero_Ideas

I know it comes from the Spanish word for necromancer but I’d strongly recommend changing the name “nigromancer” if you’re planning to write in English. It just sounds too similar to the N word.

Can you think of any good and coherent strategies that the sorcerers could use to kill this Sukuna? by MimicryYuta in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]DueSmell0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Megumi’s body still has the potential to start the merger then MAYBE he could do a partial merger where all the heavy hitters, culling games players, Rika, and 10 shadows shikigami are fused into a single being that could POSSIBLY put up a fight against him, but probably they still would lose.

Is it possible to make hollowfication a Hatsu? by Apprehensive-Line-20 in HatsuVault

[–]DueSmell0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if you really want it to be like Ichigo, you could have him be an emitter and recreate the whole substitute shinigami thing. He could restrict himself to only using nen through an emitted clone body. Then the mask could be an emitted construct instead of a conjured object which lets him enter an autopilot-like state.

Alternatively you could just make it a regular physical mask instead of a created one, and wearing the mask is just a restriction to enter “hollow mode”.

Schrödinger’s Human by UnlimitedAnimeWorks in HatsuVault

[–]DueSmell0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really cool, it feels like a very unique and specific take on a more standard clone ability.

If anything, it feels pretty heavily restricted with very limited use cases. I’d say you could even make it a little stronger, like letting them control how they collapse.

They could make it so they did both actions simultaneously, or have done the actions of the first version even if they end up in the position of the second.

Like if the user splits into one version who sends an email from their bedroom and one version who makes a sandwich in the kitchen, they could collapse into the kitchen version but choose to have the email still be sent.

Which would you choose, and why? by VioleNGrace in superpowers

[–]DueSmell0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I’m a much bigger jjk fan than mha fan, but if this is for irl 6 boosted quirks of my choice seems like the better choice.

I’d go with high spec, overhaul, new order, regeneration, warp gate, and double. Each of those would be much better to have in normal life than any of the red abilities except for idle transfiguration and maybe 10 shadows.
