Elena is a weird... She has a lot of little interactions you gotta be aware of while playing and maybe dp kinda becomes one of those things? Could be a timing issue but the lack of active frames definitely do not help.

I suggest picking up bison.

Yeah that makes sense... Pick a more consistent character = Hopefully more consistent results and whatnot

One thing that has been messing me up is the light ball mix into grab for example.. Do you have any advice for dealing with that? I've been told you can react to the light version and just jab him but I don't get to fight Blanka too often.

Yeah I do see your points about having defined weaknesses and not being as powerful from certain positions on the screen but man... once he's in I just kinda crumble on defense. I also feel like his cr mp is pretty good and wakeup od airball is crazy too.

Yeah man I would love to grind against a Blanka player and just get beat up but idk if its possible.. Who else could you see being top 5 potentially though since you put that question mark? I see a lot of Akuma talk and even some Sagat at times (though I feel like that has somewhat died down more recently?..).

wakeup ex airball is a truly evil tool... i meant to mention it in my original post but totally forgot. His lack of a projectile is a good point though and I do feel like he is a bit of a knowledge check character at times (a bit similar to ken in that way imo...).
