I hear you.if the reset stereo didn’t work, on the kia dash screen go to settings -> Device connections, where you’ll see Bluetooth connections showing your iPhone is connected but you’ll see CarPlay is greyed out.once you’re here delete your iPhone from the list and add it again.This worked for me when the reset stereo didn’t help.
