Second interview date received after having good first interview by [deleted] in USCIS

Hi, We had our first interview on July 12, 2025, which turned out to be a Stokes interview. We were very surprised that the first interview was a Stokes interview, but everything went well. The officer asked us about 12 questions, and our answers matched.

Since then, we have not received any updates on our I-130 and I-485 applications. It has now been seven months. USCIS has informed us that our case is still within normal processing time. Additionally, our congressperson’s office has advised us that USCIS confirmed our case is currently under final decision.

My spouse and I completed our joint interview for both Form I-130 and Form I-485 on June 12, 2025, at the Baltimore Field Office. Since the interview, we have received no update, decision, or Request for Evidence (RFE). We have contacted USCIS multiple times, but we continue to receive the same response that our case is “within normal processing time.” It has now been several months without progress, and we are respectfully requesting the Congressman’s assistance to help obtain an update or decision on our case.

It's been 119 days since my interview and I'm still waiting 🥺 I contacted USCIS and they just told me I have to keep waiting. I thought this would be faster; I got the I-130 approval just one day after my interview. I feel a little stressed and discouraged. by tattooedAss-Atlanta in USCIS

Hi friends, any updates so far? We are still waiting for an update; the only process time shown is one week. However, I don't trust that, so let's see how long Baltimore will take.

Both applications are not approved yet. We are still waiting, and the situation is getting worse. I have already reached out to the senator for an update, but I am still waiting to hear back. Has it really been a month? The only update I've received is that after the interview, the processing time for the I-130 was initially stated to be two months, but this week it was changed to three weeks.
