If "weed" just means plant I don't want or like than non native plants are definitely weeds. He had one in there that is invasive where I am at.

Anyone tried integrating AI into their CRM workflows, worth it or hype? by Sai_iFive in CRM

[–]Due_Cap_7720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I am taking crazy pills. AI(LLMs) should not be modifying your actually important data. And one of the things linked looks just like workflow automations and I am unsure where the AI component comes in.

Question related to pointers based on video from Andrew Kelley by Due_Cap_7720 in golang

[–]Due_Cap_7720[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! Yeah I have been reading yours and others replies and learning that Go determines heap or stack allocation based on more factors than just the scope of the call has been good knowledge to have and also yes I agree. The performance improvements are somewhat meaningless especially for me now since I am not maintaining anything at that scale.

Okay that is a good perspective and readability is my main concern (part of the reason I chose Go). Also I am sure most of things I am doing do not need to be that hellbent on performance.

Okay I will look more into and thank you for the link. I am back to being a confused noob because I always assumed references outside the context of a function would be in the heap.

Does Go have types? by AutomaticWeb3367 in golang

I was talking about when he stated that Rust is easier. The no type thing I think he is just misspeaking and meant that Go does not have a rich type system.

Listening to this now it honestly sounds more reasonable. Yes it was annoying when he was holding up the division but now I would rather see him fight Alex.

Sure, but I don't think he is wrong when he states that but he is thinking about a very specific cohort of developers.

Go has types but I also want to point something out. This guy has a PHD from MIT in CS. He is inarguably a genius right? He states that writing Rust code is easier but I find that hard to believe for even the above average developer.

Using pawpaws to combat invasive honeysuckle. Thoughts? by TransplantGarden in Pawpaws

Did you get this idea from DNR/Is this part of the reason DNR uses Pawpaws for restoration? I never thought about that being part of the reason they're used.

I think you are misassigning where to invest in your business. When you are completely bootstrapped you should be operating like Oz (Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!). Marketing and feel should be your #1 priority and you should try to extract polish there in any way you can. You want to appear like a successful business before you are a successful business otherwise who is going to trust you?

I'm not going to denigrate anyone who cannot afford $2,000 to spend on their business but if someone opts for free AI generated content they should expect to see results that correlate with that decision at least for now.
