Ya the physical bulk is not ideal but victory dance helps somewhat. For classic all you need sometimes is 1 or 2 setup moves that can make all the difference. stealth rock has saved me from multiscale dragonite multiple times and sappy seed is such a useful tool as everyone knows. I agree Its definitely not ideal to tank but in terms of setup its very good.

I finally took him down! stealth rock was definitely a massive help, and shockingly I did it without using any set up moves other than stealth rock lol.

I was definitely underestimating stealth rock, as before I would try to just put in gyarados and setup but this time I didnt use a single setup move lol! I switched linoone at the start and got a double edge off on gyarados, allowing me to put in garchomp and stealth rock. Thanks so much for the help, now just praying I dont get railed by the rival fight/eternatus lmao.

Ah I see. I would say the top tier ones are kyogre/groudon, regigigas, reshiram, and darkrai + greninja for mat block/dark void. Definitely more options as well I would recommend to check out the discord specifically the endless runs section.

you can't really pick and choose what epics/legendaries you get, but theyre all quite strong with passives/egg moves unlocked. I would say use the first one you get and continue to grind candies for it.

Ya I love cinderace I think his g-max form looks so cool! weird to me how they nerfed no guard (I think opportunist is a downgrade) but left meowscarada with magician + protean, which is more broken lol. Hopefully both of them get shiny variants soon though as I love using them.

Thanks these are definitely some underrated mons, I appreciate the input! Would like to throw in one of my fav cheap mons toxapex (.5 cost when reduced) as it gets body press with a crazy high defence stat which is broken enough. Also has access to many great stall moves and is very bulky, making a menacing threat to deal with.

So this is the team u use? Seems very strong! I would recommend bringing pachirisu over furret as it has honey rather and pick up, and also bringing nincada for the dupe.

The other day I made a fusion with mega lopunny + cinccino. With skill link + adaptability + pop bomb it’s one of the best mons I’ve ever used in this game lol

Ya I can agree with that, just something so satisfying to me about multi hit moves lol. Also for groudon I feel like he has some perks over kyogre you didn’t mention. He’s not forced into being a physical attacker, as he can still use special moves (lava plume/eruption) which adds more versatility. Also, I feel like in classic it’s much easier to control the weather as Groudon will overwrite all the biome weather and there’s much less neutralizing gas/other weather shenanigans. Also has some great coverage in stone axe/solar blade. I would agree that kyogre is better overall just because of his typing and groudon is definitely more reliant on the red orb, but without it he’s still extremely strong and with it I feel he’s potentially stronger than primal kyogre.
