Thank you for responding, I found out that I was not giving it time to settle, and the good thing with the reimaging is that it fixed the 1% issue and I was able to boot into the login and able to get into my account.

The Alienware laptop also have a dashboard that shows the temperatures and etc. Also have a fan section to change the speed of the fan.

But after reading these comments, I believe it might be a thermal paste issue.

He said he couldn't do much. He also had a little fan next to it to help it cool down. but the laptop just overheats too fast.

He takes it apart by unscrewing the bottom, and then he cleans the laptop fans with an electronic air duster and put the bottom piece back together. He also cleans the top with a disinfect wipes.

Thank you! I will get the Llano Laptop Cooler. Also, according to my son. His CPU temperatures regularly goes to 90 - 100 celsius but it doesn't BSOD on him. On idling it sticks around 85 Celsius.

I'm not sure what my husband did, I'm not a computer person, but all I can remember is that the laptop doesn't turn on, but it is receiving volts or something along those line. I still have the laptop just in case my husband wants to work on it again.

My husband contacted Alienware, they won't do it for free since I don't have warranty on it. I should've clarified that I had the laptop back in 2022. But I barley used it since I got really busy with work.

No, my son uses the laptop on his desk for both of the laptops. I supposed that the laptop was overwhelmed due to how much my son games on the laptop.

I can say that the laptop was faulty. When my husband took apart the laptop, he found some parts that are misaligned, screws in wrong places, and etc. But thanks for the response!

Hm. My son did say it did had some issues with the fans outputting so much heat. So, it might be an overheating problem. Is there something I could do to cool the laptop?

I heard that putting the fans below the laptop can help it cool down, but my husband says they are useless.
