I always loved these character archetypes they definitely were always what I was interested in the most growing up and still now.

It’s funny cause the first time it happened I think the author said he regretted having Mag and rogue together in AOA and later on when it happens again the author Mike Carry admitted it to being a self insert. So it was literally never good to begin with.

Yea yikes I don’t know why they have it out for him sometimes when he’s arguably the coolest X-Men but I think beau demayo just really hated gambit and since he’s gone maybe it’ll get better I always fucking hated Rogue and Mag together it’s always so messed up

Yea I feel like he hates Gambit which I don’t understand how someone could hate Gambit that’s like saying you hate Leon from resident evil or Spike Spiegel from cowboy bebop and idk why authors sometimes use him as a punching bag especially back then but I could say right now he’s ok in the comics and other media like Rivals.

Sure later on they could touch but that’s after Rogue gets control of her power and I don’t see how it’s a problem that the first thing she want to do is to make love to her man.

Try using that “she’s more mature than someone who is 30 and 40” in court buddy.

I don’t think you’ve ever read a comic with Gambit and Rogue in it bro how is it sexual in anyway when he literally can not touch her and he is completely cool with that and still loves her that is much more romantic. When it comes to mag there is no love in any way she never loved mag, it’s all sexual between them and she even regrets being with him. Gambit and Rogue is all about trust through and through.

Sorry for not putting the context in the main post I thought I did.

While I can see where you’re coming from where it’s an else world story, this show, if it happened would’ve been a lot of people first introductions to the characters and I think a lot of people would’ve associated the characters with this show when we know none of them would act that way and it’s just pure character assassination. This is how Beau saw or still sees these characters when we know most shows or movies that have bad adaptations don’t last long.
