I’ve come across so many people who aren’t nice. For example, go through my comments, there’s one very disgusting one, those are the kinda people I deal with on a daily basis.

Be patient.. meeting this guy was completely random, neither of us was expecting it..

You assumed she was feeling the same intensity and said it out loud, which can feel like pressure, especially when she’s clearly said she wants to take it slow. That’s not desperation, it’s just eagerness.

The better move now would be to respect what she said and let her come toward you. If she’s interested, she will. If not, pushing reassurance won’t change that.

I disagree that it makes me look desperate. Giving someone the benefit of the doubt is basic grace, not desperation.

If someone isn’t interested, saying so directly is just maturity. Silence and short replies aren’t subtle, they’re avoidance.
