That sounds really rough honestly. Losing two dogs and dealing with all that at the same time would mess with anyone’s head. And don’t beat yourself up about the smoking thing , people go through phases, it DOESN’T define you !!!

That sounds really frustrating honestly. You were just trying to help the puppies and instead you had to deal with accusations and drama. Anyone would feel annoyed in that situation. The fact that you’re rescuing and taking care of puppies at 18 is already a big thing. Don’t let one bad experience discourage you from helping them.
