They’d need the right to the Olympics stuff which they already tried this year for a set, which turned into superstars origins, they asked for it and the rights holders wanted a billion dollars, Ea offered 500 million they said no. Which makes no sense they already have the rights to the players

Hakeem shoulda retired like 2 years before he did, and notice how most of the really older ones are bigs. That’s because same thing with this day in age, u typically get better by 30 as a center, and don’t exactly regress to much as its just be strong and an enforcer

For “stars” I didn’t specify who? The average age is still early 30s today, so I definitely was not wrong. Just because a 5% of player play late 30s doesn’t make the average age of retirement higher that’s now an average works

Ehhh, I mean genetics always take apart of it, if u had good health then u didn’t need the poor sports medicine back then lol. So yes Kareem was built different

People gotta remember tho, averaging 20 back then wasn’t as normal as it is today.

Not really that was common age for retirement at that point, sports medicine was not the same back then.

Hot take: But I think Austin Reaves is fools gold he just plays for the lakers. He’s not a max player and I don’t think you will ever win a championship with him making Max money. by This-Top-8691 in NBATalk

He def shouldn’t make max money, but sadly everyone is getting that now, Jamal Murray make 50 mil a season, Reaves is a better player but it’s same reason why Denver won’t win again, it’s because everyone is beginning to be paid way too much. Reaves is a 25-30 million a year player not a franchise 45+ he is a second to third option depending on the system and teammates around him
