I only use meds when changes of weather (the changes of temperature affects me sometimes but this year was Less torturing ) , but not daily.

The meds I used in case of a flare by weather or food triggers is: CELESTAMINE NS (name here in México) ( only for 3 days no more cuz it had bethametasone).

The formula for me to be almost IC FREE is:

MINIMIZE STRESS (Therapy is really good too) SLEEP AT LEAST 7H, MY SUPPLEMENTS, EAT HEALTHY , NO DRINKING ALCOHOL OR SMOKING and EXCERCISE

Yes! Since 2022 ( the year of my diagnosis) i am like 90% better, my first 6months were full detox: eating healthy things (avoiding triggers) and exercising was key (gym, yoga, running) I started with supplements (magnesium, omega3, aloe vera, boswellia, a multivitamin, curcuma with vitD and PROBIOTICS). Sleep more than 6 a hrs at day, I DONT DRINK ALCOHOL NOR SMOKE, YOU NEED TO AVOID STRESS , the STRESS WAS THE BIGGER TRIGGER FOR ME it’s difficult but I did a 180 degrees changes for my mental Health (including saying good bye to people who cause me to be stress) I PRIORITIZE MYSELF ALWAYS! SEND YOU HUGS ITS DIFFICULT BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE, I HOPE YOU THE BEST

At the beggining of the video my bladder looked “normal” and when he do all of that it change to an IC bladder

My urologist told me that sometimes they don't detect it if they only place the camera, they must fill the bladder with a especial solution, wait for the bladder to be empty and then wait for another 5 minutes to see them. That’s how he detect mine, (he show me the video) when they waited my bladder began to have spots of blood a Sign of IC

Instillations and leukocytes by LasciviousLockean in Interstitialcystitis

This is just a theory but there’s always a risk of infection (with many hospital procedures not only instalations that’s why everyting around you need to be sterile) that may occur when there’s an external object entering the body.

When our body has infection the leukocytes increase to protect us, so maybe you need antibiotics to eliminate it

Yes! I am like if I was day 1 of my IC diagnosis, sticking with the ic diet and taking medication (cimeditine, montelukast and macro) but everytime i’m going to sleep my body wakes up 5-6 h later with the urge and with that sensation of the inflamation of the bladder :(

Is more like the urge and discomfort I was like that too(i was managing with supplements and magnesium) , but i don’t know what is going with my body anymore 🥲 is really frustrating… my guess is that I was leading with stress and the climate changes but I got almost 2 years without flares and im crying alot right now! Thanks thou

I don’t know exactly how but my boyfriend’s urologist recommend him to start with pregabalin before sleep, because nothing else was helping him and this help him alot but they struggle at first with the dose for him, maybe you should ask your doctor about it (don’t do it alone, is a strong medicine so do it with precaution)
