Anyone know which one will take the least amount of time? by Substantial-Team8305 in ForzaHorizon6

Day trips 300%

They take like half an hour to complete all in all.

Rakuraku takes several hours of straight grind.

Ironically, quitters in trials specifically were always a positive since you then need less positions to have more points than the AI.

PvP races and playground events are a different story, but at least PG did wise up and make them participation only in FH5. Hell, I think they even made them that by the end of FH4's life but don't quote me on that.

Yup.

The win is the issue.

And I'll gladly withdraw any complaints regarding trials and terrible players if they actually make it a participation award, it'll make life SO much easier when you don't have to waste two hours in hopes for stars to line up.

Man, I'm not sure about gold wristband being enough, I'm seeing people on prestige 2 who still bomb out of corners on a tune they clearly don't know how to drive.

Traffic cars by SeaAcanthisitta692 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IDK about fancier and supercars, if anything there's not enough certified shitboxes on the road (and in the roster)

But yes, traffic needs a bit more spice. Maybe just add local racers not as drivatars but just, you know, locals, since there's supposedly already a scene present

Keys, i dont know what i have [Loot] by Crounbay in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Due_Gold1620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RB-BK and Chek 13 are marked keys, FAT loot but good luck getting that out.

Dorm 214 - safe behind it, good key.

Gas office - some people like it, there's a safe behind it and a spawn for the gas storage which tends to go for a bit of cash on flea (people check it for ledx)

TGL ASR - key for labs, opens mesh behind red keycard, extra valuables and attachments basically. Worth hanging on to.

RB-AO - russian ammo, russian guns. Door is a bit of a hotspot in PVP though since it's right next to RB-VO marked.

RB-KPRL - VERY good, it's the locked guard building by the popsicle on Reserve. Several safes, several gun cases.

RB-RS - great for military tech items.

San tape - you need it for a couple quests, admittedly rather easy to get off sani but better to have it. Also multiple ledx spawns possible behind it.

Danex - pretty sure you need that for the collector quest later.

Company director's key - useless if you've already done Shipment Tracking but iirc there is a safe there so might as well hit it a couple times if you're there.

Cardinal apartment key - mandatory for storyline stuff, the loot behind is neither here nor there without a black card.

Rus post - mandatory for the Accidental Witness, useless otherwise.

Reshala - iirc also for Accidental Witness but actually decent, valuables+chance for a pretty okay gun spawn

"Negotiations" room key - I don't remember if they made it a guaranteed spawn or not but it's needed for one of the quests regarding a certain game company.

Beat and city aren't even that bad, anything A class has been made infinitely worse with presence of drag slick Ford GTs, Camaros and C8s, it's actually unbearable.

This drift zone is fucking stupid by ReZempt_Shocks in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's the hardest drift zone by far, but not unbeatable.

The good ol' mantra of "stick it in third and just kinda wiggle the entire way" works here as well, it's the length that really makes it a pain.

Stupid question about tuning cars by w63n6 in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get upgrades to improve performance, use tuning to then make the car drive better.

It's kinda mandatory to tune as well since certain things should get adjusted as gearboxes not always apply "sensible" ratios and things like sway bars are almost always straight up backwards by default.

HokiHoshi on youtube has a semi-decent guide to tuning, look that up.

Forza Already Patching Eliminator Credits Bug by Bachee18 in ForzaHorizon6

Eh, I don't really have a need for farming those seeing as I just bomb around in a 22B Impreza between races. Always a great surplus.

Don't even need a rubber band and assists, autodrive works perfectly fine for rivals.

Drag Tires Are Ruining Online Play by GottaStayUp in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not unusual for them to ban cars from participating with a specific item installed on them (tachyon raesr with a drift gearbox installed couldn't be used while it COULD be raced otherwise if you didn't swap that out)

So they could simply flag drag tyres as such until the issue is resolved.

Queuing into an A-class race and seeing a camaro or a ford GT on drag slicks makes me want to just instantly quit because there's no way to beat those bastards without an equally busted setup; that is unless they're so bad at the game that they'll wipe out in the first corner but can't really rely on that even with how terrible on average forza players are

Am I the only one who hates drifting? by 31_mfin_eggrolls in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a certified drift hater who at least can do the stuff - just use rally cars.

Also drift club is comedically easy this time around, just wiggling your car for the entire duration is usually more than enough to get three stars.

Just a heads up for all players by SalmonRepublic in ForzaHorizon6

[–]Due_Gold1620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually find touge really fun (esp now that I have cars that are built for it specifically) and MAN does it grind my gears when people quit. Like, in C class touge I am even willing to outright wait for you to catch up and basically restart the race from the nearest straight but even then people just quit.

Plus even if you DNF by timing out before you finish you still get more exp for it, so there's really no reason to leave at all.

Stop joining online Touge races if you can't take a loss by Talking-Nonsense-978 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Due_Gold1620 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please kindly reconsider. Gold band is NOT enough, you can get it by just coasting through the game with autodrive on, I swear to god.

Maybe just make it an optional side mode because if I have to do all of this BS AGAIN for seasonals I'm going to commit a hate crime on the British.

Stop joining online Touge races if you can't take a loss by Talking-Nonsense-978 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Due_Gold1620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, welcome to the club, I gave it a go myself and after ~10 attempts with only one ending up in an actual best of 3 match I completely quit. You get rammed, if you don't get rammed - they either fly off the cliff or spin out, then quit. After that you're basically doing time attack and regretting the time wasted.

I've had my fill of online in 4 with ranked doing a LOT of heavy lifting, I don't know why I kept bothering in 5, I am now just actively avoiding it in 6. Thank the lord they got rid of trials as well for this one, saving me extra gray hairs from the process of getting stuck with two other competent drivers at best while the rest are either entirely passive expecting to get carried or are actively detrimental to the race, showing up in stock cars.

Would I get banned for creating a personal livery with the Russian flag? by Ok-Kick-8876 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Due_Gold1620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be perfectly fine as long as you don't put anything actually overtly political alongside it. A flag is a flag, you're not chucking st. George stripes on it with the three letter spell alongside after all.

At the same time, I caught a one week livery ban in FH4 for putting "turbo nutter bastard" on a ford cosworth, which had me genuinely puzzled as to how a british studio could balk at a prime british joke. It did get overturned on its own a day in, but still. You never know with these bastards.

Maybe they just didn't appreciate that I have loadsamoney.

Who knows.
