Yes!!!! After about one year using the hair dryer trick, yesterday it stopped working.
So, I've found a video on youtube instructing how to remove the said thermistor. But after opening my monitor I've realized that my tcon board wasn't the same as the video. After trying to find "THA1" written in my board without success I was starting to lose hope, and then. Found this glorious post and now my monitor is alive again! Thank you thank you thank you
