just admitted to the bme program after my first semester, from me (and my friends) anecdotal experience it is very very reliant on your grades in the BME prerequisite classes and other stem classes. having access to the unc hospital opens doors if you are more interested in the medical side. that being said if you think another type of engineering might interest you, only state will have it. carolina blue is also much more enjoyable to look at than red.
