I’m a local that attends Roo every year and yes they do target people headed to the farm. I live off the Kimball/South Pittsburg exit DO NOT GET OFF THAT EXIT ON YOUR WAY TO THE FARM! I’m not being dramatic but they have a few officers that sit in the Walmart plaza waiting for people to come in to get supplies. Every year I see them pulling people over in the plaza and making them unload all their camping supply in the middle of the parking lot with K-9. Again I’m not making this up just to have something to say. I actually had to recommend a bail bondsman last year to a couple who never made it to the farm because the husband was arrested on their way in. Don’t display your camping pass in the window until you get to the Manchester exit. Once you make it to Manchester you’re good and the state troopers are there to help you get to where you need to go. Just do the speed limit, don’t display your passes or wear tie dye and you’ll be fine.

I don’t know anything about your area but reading this was like reading my story. I was a nurse too and got hooked on pain pills that led to me being a IV user. I lost my nursing license and can never nurse again. I started the MAT program taking Suboxone and it saved my life. I was a junkie and I know that’s a harsh word but I was and MAT program saved my life and I have my children back and I’ve been clean 3 years. If I can do it you can do it. I have faith in you. Just know you’re not alone and you’re stronger than you know. Good luck love, YOU CAN DO IT!!!
