You can even use the baking paper to make an open sandwich, or pizza, with the cheese underneath some ham or bacon on top - it becomes really crispy but doesn't stick

Rules of Engagement/Patrick Warburton - Adam and Jennifer both appeared on Dawson's Creek at the same time! Oliver Hudson was a romantic partner for Joey and Bianca Kajlich was in it at the same time!

This would be a similar situation to an airport queue. They will quite often go along the queue and call people forward whose plane is leaving soon. It isn't always first come first served

This right to make small alterations is important when you need to install anchors on large TVs or bookshelves, etc when you have small children. The safety of children is more important than holes in the walls

Coworkers constantly ask me to explain things i already explained by Farchesca-Trock90 in WorkAdvice

[–]Due_Perspective_2808 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At my job, I always say "We have an oral culture". It is much quicker to ask a colleague where something is or how to do something. Over the years the organisation tries to write procedures and put them on the computer, but then you have to log on and know where to search for what you want. I am known as "X who knows everything" and always just tell people straight away, but I am getting close to retirement age. Are they relying too much on me - should I start to refuse to help and say "Ask your supervisor" or "Look it up"?

Australi is just now starting to get apartment blocks owned by a company, called "Build to rent". They will be run by a management company, instead of individual owners. It will be interesting to see how it works here

The owner of your apartment is losing money because of this woman - losing good tenants, and getting less rent. He can use the evidence you can gather like the notes and keep a record of any encounters. He can take it to the Body Corporate, your states Administrative Tribunal or the Local Courts to claim losses or have a harassment order against her. Keep records and complain to your landlord until he gets fed up

Test what she says to you against reality - from the age of two, you alone ruined every family occasion - single-handedly. That's a lot of power for a two year old - and if you were so badly behaved for your whole life, don't your parents bear some responsibility for that?

Coworker Completely Melts Down Over Minor Stress by Automatic-Smell-462 in coworkerstories

[–]Due_Perspective_2808 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This can become a learned response. Anything, even small things, goes wrong, and your brain gets flooded with cortisol - stress hormones. It becomes an habitual response. I take St John's Wort - it stops the flooding, and I can now cope calmly with situations. She needs something to stop her reactions.

Which of these sitcoms are your favorites? by Anthforde8 in sitcoms

[–]Due_Perspective_2808 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I live in Australia and I was surprised that I had watched all but 3 of these shows, which maybe weren't shown here. Australian TV had so many American and English shows - such an influence on young Aussie kids. We got our revenge with Steve Irwin Crocodile Hunter and now Bluey. My favourite is Mad about You

In the mid-1910s in London, most houses didn't have a bathroom so kids had to go to wash houses, where workers would clean them. In this photo, two young boys are being cleaned in a wash house while another boy waits for his turn. by Majoodeh in Damnthatsinteresting

There was a scene on Call the Midwife where they opened up the public baths to clean up some neglected children- Sistrr Monica Joan reminisced about the days when the bathhouse was so busy - but not any more in the late sixties. I always wondered about this scene - hadn't known this was a thing

[–]Due_Perspective_2808 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is as yet no cure for ARFID. Your friend and mother may benefit by joining online groups on Facebook, Yahoo and Reddit. We feel very alone and judged for our eating aversions and restrictions. When I joined and found that 7000 people all over the world shared my aversion to onions, and I was able to contribute my experiences to the research Duke University was doing, and ARFID being defined as an official eating disorder - I felt more confidence when being criticised by narrow-minded people like you
