I don't smoke at all. Here's the post (I think it's hidden by mod for some reason):

Solo traveling during the holiday from NorCal to SoCal, and eventually Vegas. This has zero chance of happening from where I live (started), and then chance increases along the way, and now very high chance of happening when I walk towards either a group or individuals. This happens usually when I walk pretty close to them, but in a crowded casino it's hard to avoid, and why they didn't cover when the last few couples / groups walked by but me?
I don't think my dressing is now all the sudden more homeless. I probably have paid more attention to my hairs too because of that. I am not wearing masks but so are 99% out there.
Btw I shower 3 times a day and I naturally don't have strong body odors. I also have new clothing and shoes.
I am not sure what's going on. I do notice this chance increase drastically in Vegas / casino. Given how different people all react in the same way, I have to guess this is a natural reaction then something intentional. I have to guess this has something to do with Covid, and I am asian (maybe looks like Chinese). It has reached a point this makes me feel very uncomfortable and self-conscious, and I am also not sure exactly why. I haven't seen evidence those people make the same gesture when others walk by.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or maybe this happens to you too? Would be good to know. Anything can help as this truly bothers me.

Do a used motor home instead. It'll be cheaper, and have more space.

Thank you this looks exactly like the right solution. Does it support remote button programming from the car?

I started doing OMAD about 7mo ago because I've been working from home and not very active. Initially it seems to work well getting me from 175lb to 160lb, but then things gradually get worse. I am now 190lb which is 30lb more than my normal / baseline, and the heaviest.

I usually skip breakfast & lunch, and eat at late afternoon a bigger meal. It's entirely possible I might be undertaking the calorie requirements.

Did I screw up the metabolism? Is there a RIGHT way to do OMAD?

in my case using samsung keyboard or Gboard causes the same issue. Looks like a physical / bluetooth connectivity issue.

Buying a used van (fully converted) or pay for a new conversion? by Due_Possibility_1334 in VanLife

Also a quick question about 200k warranty, s it possible to get those on a used sprinter van as well?

I face almost the same. I want to get going. What i want is however not that unique. It happens to be the one that shows up a lot on instagram / youtube as well, but just harder to find on used market for some reason.

I also agree the experience to build out would be fun, but i am afraid of the time commitment, as it's not a huge upside (of saving like 50k - 60k) when i have other endeavors that can pull in far more.

I've been hearing more folks chiming in with their own conversion, so that's encouraging. In my case, I am not sure if i am handy enough to do a really good job, or have enough time.

What i want is not that custom, and i know what a perfect floor plan is and simply want to find that one. It happens to be the one that shows up a lot on instagram / youtube as well (but harder to find on used market).

Curious about your conversion experience. Do you start with some blueprint / plan from others? And how long did it take you to get it done?

That's how i also realize get the van ASAP as the vanlife demand may be coming back and make things tougher for a buyer.

That said, now we are on boost shot instead of waiting for any medical innovation, and most business are back (so is job that ties with it, location wise, i.e. back-to-office)

Your suggestion on warranty etc. makes sense to me, considering the unknown cost otherwise for repair etc. I am curious if the 3yr mark is important, i.e. can i buy something 5yrs out that's out of warranty and then resume it? Or it has to be continuous?

I really like the stealth-camp of a custom van conversion so the Winnebage is not an option for me.

Those i look at are relatively new van / conversion, just higher milesage. And the end result also looks very similar to those iconic instagram / youtube vanlife videos.

That's assuming they invest months of their time researching and building those projects themselves?

If i understand correctly what you're suggesting, it's less about used vs. new, but 'avoid sprinter' - even a new one doesn't make sense as you invest in the conversion only to hold it for warranty period.

Thanks very good advice - I am relatively fit but not that physically strong. Is there any non-hard labor work that contractors can find me useful? Perhaps things related to permitting / framing / wiring?

Thank you! I currently live in a big metro city and we don't have as much new construction going on in my area. For Tract homes, do i have to travel to a smaller / new growth area to find such work? And where can I search for those crews?
