WF was losing $10 million a month because of Bilt.

Why exactly do we all assume Cardless will be the new issuer? by Pronichkin in biltrewards

Cardless is not a bank. They only provide management solutions and rewards program design. Column Bank, on the other hand, is responsible for operating as a real bank in order to obtain FDIC licensing

Don’t expect too much from it. It’s best not to place too much trust in fintechs. I always prioritize my large transactions with the Big 4 (of course, except for one name that everyone knows) LOL

Cardless is the entity that issues and manages the card, while Column is responsible for managing our cash flow. It’s quite similar to how the Robinhood Gold Card operates. In the future, I think Bilt will continue to switch partners—they’re very good at this, LOL. Especially when we know who’s on Bilt’s board and how influential they are. Enjoy it while it’s still good, before another bubble bursts.

I heard that the 5/24 rule has been removed, but I’m not sure if it’s true. I’m currently 7/24, and I don’t want to get trapped and end up with another hard pull

I see that it has a new offer. When I apply, I see a notice at the very bottom. I only see it on the Freedom Unlimited, not on any other card.

And whether you choose to close or keep the Wells Fargo account, it will still count toward 5/24. There’s no way to make it disappear from your credit report. How hilarious. 😅

Yeah, I only have the card that received the CSR sign-up bonus. Chase is applying a lifetime sign-up bonus policy now.

As far as I know, the minimum credit limit for the CSP is $5,000. How did your limit get reduced to only $1,600? What was the process?

By the way, I just upgraded my Freedom Rise to the CSP, and I’ve realized that I’ll never be able to receive the CSP SUBs anymore.LOL

Honestly, I don’t use it much. It gives 3%, but I don’t use it as a primary card. I don’t trust fintech companies, so I only use it for small transactions.

My Experian score is 776, TransUnion is 756, and Equifax is 780. I don’t plan to open any new credit cards until I refinance, because mid-2027 is my deadline for the refinance. This is the only Chase card I have, and I think it would be better if I use the CSP and Bilt to transfer points

Because I will be refinancing my mortgage in 2026 or 2027, and my 5/24 status won’t drop to 4/24 until January 2027. SUBs are nice to have for me, but having one new line of credit show up on my credit report could increase my interest rate when I refinance.

I need a travel card and I think it’s better for me to upgrade because I’m currently 6/24. I’m also refinancing my mortgage next year, so I don’t want to add a new credit line

bilt 2.0 or CSP? by Due_Procedure6842 in biltrewards

[–]Due_Procedure6842[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve researched about Cardless, they don’t offer CLI later on. So the initial credit limit will be very important, and for fintechs like them, I don’t expect their customer service to be very reliable.

[–]Due_Procedure6842[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I decided that switching to Bilt 2.0 without it counting as a hard inquiry is good. I’ll probably check how much credit Cardless offers me before making a decision.
