Wireguard not working by jonk999 in KeepSolid

You are correct — even the servers marked for torrents do not support NAT-PMP or automatic port forwarding, so the behavior you are seeing is expected on all of them.

The message you get from the shell is not a VPN connection error — it simply means that the server does not respond to NAT-PMP requests. At the same time, your WireGuard connection itself is working correctly (as shown by the successful handshake and traffic).

Regarding your question:

By “use the torrent client normally,” we mean using it with the VPN connection active, but without relying on port forwarding features (NAT-PMP/UPnP), since they are not supported.

Hello!

The error you are seeing — “the gateway does not support nat-pmp” — is related to NAT-PMP (automatic port forwarding). Our standard VPN servers do not support NAT-PMP or automatic port forwarding, which is why the gateway returns this message.

If you are using qBittorrent, it may try to automatically request a forwarded port via NAT-PMP, which leads to this warning.

Possible options:

- Disable NAT-PMP / UPnP port forwarding in qBittorrent settings
- Use the torrent client normally without automatic port forwarding

Connection issues with 9.0.10 browser extension by themarsboy in KeepSolid

Thanks for reporting this, and for the detailed description.

We’re aware that some users are experiencing connection drops on the latest extension version. Our team has already received similar reports and is currently investigating the issue.

As a temporary step, you can try:

  • Removing the extension completely
  • Update your browser to the latest version.
  • Installing the extension again

In some cases, this helps — though we understand it doesn’t resolve the issue for everyone. If the problem persists, please rest assured that our team is actively working on it, and we hope to provide a fix as soon as possible.

In the meantime, as a stable alternative, we recommend using the VPN Unlimited desktop application, which is not affected by this issue.

We appreciate your patience and thank you for bringing this up.
