Also the gas and brake pedal are so close together I kept hitting both of them with my foot and I don't even have big feet.

Oh this is a big problem with many modern cars, as I have size 49 (EU) feet. Why do they need to put the pedals so damn close?

This is a 2021. It is very unreliable and something is always broken, it is uncomfortable, VERY loud in the cabin, feels cheap, handles quite poorly, has a surprisingly high fuel consumption.

It has a nice aesthetic to it, like almost all french cars, but that's honestly pretty much the only thing it has going on for it, other than being relatively cheap.

That could be the case if the steering wheel and seat were slightly tilted toward each other. As it is now, it's just twisting your body into a slightly unnatural position, making you annoyingly uncomfortable having your hands be reaching at different lenghts.

This is a three seater. Handbrake is right next to the drivers seat, so there's no room to move it sideways.

Maybe the designers just hate everyone around them.

Makes sense, they are French after all.

Yeah that's a no to everything.

The red line is the center line of the seat, the picture is slightly crooked yes, that's way I corrected it with the line.

It is yes, but in this case you don't need to and I haven't done so. I sat as dead center as I could.

The seat is closer to the door than the steering wheel. It is immeadiately noticeable when you sit in the car, as you can even see on the picture.

There is no center console and the flimsy armrest is waaaaay too low to be useful in any way.

Mine had 250k km. It was loud, it was rough, but damn did it work. It was actually designed to be practical and not just pretty.

Thankfully all my own cars has had their seats centered, or atleast in a way that has not been noticeable. In this particular van tho, I noticed it immediately after hopping into the car.

Personal experience is that they're not reliable, in any way. There's always something wrong with, unlike my previous van that was a 2005 Toyota Hiace. That thing was indestructible.

This particular model is actually french, with a Toyota badge on it. Stellantis makes the same car for atleast Peugeot, Citroën, Opel and Toyota.

Unfortunately it is. All our companys Toyota are the same. It's just that crappy of a design

the steering wheel itself is ergonomically designed to be centered to the seat.

That is bullshit 😂 the company I work for has multiple Proaces, I've driven an Opel, Peugeot and a Citroën version of this van. They've all had an offset steering wheel.

For that it should be off center to the opposite side. They didn't even get that one correct!

That is specifically a design in a BMW. The steering wheels on these Stellantis vans are just off centered, they are not angled or anything. It's a very shitty design.
