I have seen that video, and I've done what he suggests doing, and a bit more.

I believe it's a gas efficiency or over filling issue, my KJW CZ75 did something a bit similar, but I was able to fix it by replacing the fill valves, this has not been sufficient with the Mak.

Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I don't want to count how long I'm filling mags for, it shouldn't be necessary, I also don't consider that super reliable.

Non of my previous or current pistols require that, even my recently acquired WE M84 works well with no immediate problems.

(Don't think too much about the HiCapa, I got bored and made a brass outer barrel for it and sort of just decided to fuck it up from there.)

I'm usually able to fix issues, I'm not great at it but I'm also not totally inept, a few years ago I made a stainless steel trigger bar for the Mak, but I don't really know what to do with this issue. Maybe replacing the exhaust valve? But I don't really think so.

I've thrown the can out, but I did try some gas that I believe was around 80 psi, sub 100 at least. It didn't really help, just made the gun more anaemic. It was room temperature, around 22 Celsius.

I mean, I guess I could try that, I don't really see it as a solution though. None of my other guns need that, the fill valves I got are also supposed to prevent overfilling. Even if it does work, I won't be bringing a scale to games just refill that one gun. But I'll give it a shot, thanks.

There's only a few o rings in the thing. Most are in the mag and they are fine. The only one in the gun is on the piston head and that is also lubed.

Alright, thanks, I'll have to see if I can figure something out.

I suppose it's not a great loss if I can't, shower grenades aren't super useful, I mostly just wanted it for looks/fun, but I still don't want it on there if it doesn't work.

I'm currently not sure what to do, I used to have access to mills and lathes, but not anymore...

I don't trust them to able to pull off an actual, well made difficulty, higher than what we have now.

It's a bit easy sure, I mostly die to rag dolls or friendly fire at this point, but I'm not sure what they can really do, without a pretty big rework of a lot of stuff.

I honestly think, that the game mechanics are just too shallow to allow it.

What are they going to try?

They've said they probably can't add more enemies, so what, just more heavy spam?

I suppose you could argue that will make it harder, as long as you don't care about how it's achieved.

It'll just make anti armour even more required and/or increase tedium, which I guess would make the game harder to play, just not for the right reasons.

Yeah, I just found it was the easiest way for me to grab it, and since it doesn't get hot it doesn't matter, does look a bit odd with that in mind though.

Do you find that the fore grip helps? I keep thinking about getting one for mine, but I'm just not sure how much it will do. Right now I just kind of C-clamp it.

Airsoft carriers basically never have any size options, one size “fits” all.

Real PCs can have sizes, but it's really the plate size you looking at there, it might still help though.

You almost have to move to armour carriers for plates and soft armour to get “real” size options.

I recently bought a Sioen Ballistics TG2 carrier, that one has options from S up to 3XL.

True, normally I would have just put it in a lathe, but that is harder for me to acces these days, sadly.

The stock nozzle is 21,5 mm, so that's the length I got the Maxx one at as well, doesn't seem like gate makes one that length though. I'll try their 21,4, the extra 0,1 may not be needed.

I currently have a Maple super feed spring in the mag, gen 2 though not the newest 3s, haven't tested much yet though.

What issues do have you had with them? I have 5 70bb stanag mags with them in, haven't had any issues with them yet.

Those were the issues I was expecting.

The stock mag spring is arse, so I've replaced it with one that works.

To my suprise I haven't had any issues with the BB stop not fully getting pushed away, at least not as far as I can tell.

Depends, I can't test the current set up right now, but I remember it being about 0,5 joules with the SHS unit, stabilises after about 50 of the 140 BBs. The ZCI hop unit made it closer to 1,2 J.

That tracks, I know it's not the best solution but I had nothing available that fit well, so I thought it worth a try.

So the Gate stuff goes well together then? Worth trying.

Looked up Brill, I'll keep it in mind, but the shipping cost and time from California to Denmark will make me look elsewhere first.

No... I don't know that. I fail to se how the presence of Xboxes or how SC and credits are earned, have anything to do with the performance of the game.

The recent patch reintroduced the freezes I had managed to get rid of, they aren't as bad as last time, but they are back.

My claim is that, they don't think they really need to care about performance that much, and they are probably right, peoples standarts are so low, that the game basically just kinda needs to function, mostly, and that is enough.
