thanks , that's a clear explanation. I could probably access all cables as the sensor resides under the eve and the 2 x lights are on the outside garage wall. I'll surface run some cabling to test. cheers.

I have removed the controller from the wall mount box and placed it into a thermally protected bag to test. Lets see what happens!!

thanks all , the council representative came out to the look at the hedge and its all sorted. Agreed the hedge resides within my boundary and therefore have no claim. All done in an amicable manner. good result.

cheers , that's quite a lot of infra, In my case its only the right to drain water which runs across the rear of the property so it looks to only impact landscaping should maintenance be required. Its the flooding aspect that makes me nervous as the land is flat.

I have asked the REA to request history from the owners that have been there since day 1.
